Giant’s Causeway 👣

Who knew research about Irish mythology could be so much fun?

Recently in Irish we have been working on myths and legends of the Irish history. These include the stories of Oisin and Niamh in Tír Na nÓg, the children of Lir, and Fionn Mac Cumhaill. Our Irish teacher, MsMcFadden, decided that after that hard work we deserved a trip! As the Giant’s Causeway is full of culture and stories of Fionn Mac Cumhaill and the Giant it was the perfect spot.

We raised money for the trip by making our families Guess The Score of The All-Ireland replay match and pay us €2 for a guess! It was a great idea and worked perfectly for raising money.

The Causeway is beautiful and the views were absolutely amazing. And to top off the great day we headed to Portrush after, I loved the day and really can’t believe how quick this year is going! 😪
