As Irish as Lepruchauns, Gaelic has been around for many years and plays a major role in Irish people’s lives, and let me tell you from experience, it’s not an easy game.
I wouldn’t say it’s as rough as rugby but by god it’s nearly there, on Monday our u16 Crana College Gaelic headed to Thornhill College in Derry, and it wasn’t an easy or pretty fight.
To be fair to us, it was our first time playing as team, and Thornhill had a great side. We may have lost the game, but we were the real winners as afterwards we headed to McDonalds, and yes we were loving it.
Let’s just hope luck goes our way when our match with our rivals, I mean ‘neighbour’ team over in Scoil Mhuire goes to plan 🔑
