Children’s Story Books

In English we’re creating story books for children. These stories are written up and illustrated by ourselves. We form groups to create the books, which then get sent out to primary school children in our local area πŸ˜ŠπŸ“

My group consists of me, Caoimhe O’Donnell, Caoimhe Doherty, Rachel Kelly and Gemma Brogan. I’m so grateful to have such a hardworking team, who can all draw ! I’m in the charge of the actual story and the writing up of it.. more because I can’t draw 😬✏️

Our story is about an elephant named Eva who doesn’t like school because she doesn’t have any friends, until one day she’s invited to join in a game of Hide n Seek and meets two new friends. Eva quickly changes her mind about school because now she has two new bestfriends.

I’ve really enjoyed this task and can’t wait to see the finished product πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›

Six Word Story πŸ”‘

Turns out Six Word Stories are as fond of me as I am of them, on a lucky streak this year as another one of my stories featured in the Irish Independent.

It was my daddy who told me the news and I honestly didn’t believe him. “Naw couldn’t have happened again” was my exact words.

I am thrilled to say the least and I’m really enjoying doing something I’m good at ☺️ Transition Year is bringing out the best in me this year.

Below is the Typorama I made with my story that featured at the weekend.
